For the 2025/26 season, a man racing HYROX Open moves a 152 kg (~335 lb) sled push, a 103 kg (~227 lb) sled pull, 2×24 kg (~53 lb) farmers carry, a 20 kg (~44 lb) sandbag, and a 6 kg (~14 lb) wall ball — while Pro division loads jump to 202 kg, 153 kg, 2×32 kg, 30 kg, and 9 kg. Weights vary by division and can change between seasons. Everything below is verified against the official HYROX 25/26 Singles Rulebook, last checked June 2026.
TL;DR — What are the HYROX weights for men?
HYROX men’s weights (Open division, 25/26 season): sled push 152 kg (~335 lb), sled pull 103 kg (~227 lb), farmers carry 2×24 kg (~53 lb per hand), sandbag lunge 20 kg (~44 lb), and wall ball 6 kg (~14 lb) thrown to a 3.0 m target for 100 reps. Pro division is heavier across every station. SkiErg, rowing, and burpee broad jumps carry no added weight.

HYROX men’s weights at a glance — full chart (all divisions, kg + lb)
Here is the complete loaded-weight matrix, pulled straight from the 25/26 Singles Rulebook. Two things worth fixing in your head before you read it. First, every sled figure is the total weight you move, sled hardware included — it is not the plate weight stacked on top. Second, only five of the eight stations carry added load at all; the other three are pure bodyweight effort. The chart below covers all four divisions so you can place yourself and compare against a training partner in another category.
| Station (distance) | Open Men | Pro Men | Open Women | Pro Women |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sled Push, 50 m (incl. sled) | 152 kg / ~335 lb | 202 kg / ~445 lb | 102 kg / ~225 lb | 152 kg / ~335 lb |
| Sled Pull, 50 m (incl. sled) | 103 kg / ~227 lb | 153 kg / ~337 lb | 78 kg / ~172 lb | 103 kg / ~227 lb |
| Farmers Carry, 200 m (per hand) | 24 kg / ~53 lb | 32 kg / ~70 lb | 16 kg / ~35 lb | 24 kg / ~53 lb |
| Sandbag Lunge, 100 m | 20 kg / ~44 lb | 30 kg / ~66 lb | 10 kg / ~22 lb | 20 kg / ~44 lb |
| Wall Ball (ball → target) | 6 kg / ~14 lb → 3.0 m | 9 kg / ~20 lb → 3.0 m | 4 kg / ~9 lb → 2.7 m | 6 kg / ~14 lb → 2.7 m |
| Wall Ball reps | 100 | 100 | 100 | 100 |
| Bodyweight stations | SkiErg · Row · Burpee Broad Jumps | same | same | same |
Rule of thumb: Open Men loads equal Pro Women loads at every weighted station — though women throw the wall ball to a lower 2.7 m target. No added weight: SkiErg (1,000 m), Rowing (1,000 m), and Burpee Broad Jumps (80 m) are scored on effort and technique, not load.
Men’s Open vs Pro at a glance

The Open-to-Pro step-up is consistent and worth knowing before you commit to a division. Sled push climbs +50 kg (152 → 202 kg). Sled pull climbs +50 kg (103 → 153 kg). Farmers carry adds +8 kg per hand (24 → 32 kg), which is +16 kg in your total grip load. Sandbag lunge adds +10 kg (20 → 30 kg). Wall ball goes up +3 kg (6 → 9 kg) while the 3.0 m target height stays put. Rep counts and distances do not change — Pro is purely a heavier version of the same race, 100 wall balls included.
HYROX sled push weight for men

The HYROX sled push for men is 152 kg (~335 lb) in Open and 202 kg (~445 lb) in Pro — total loaded weight, including the sled itself. You push it 50 m, run as 4 lengths of 12.5 m, on the carpeted competition surface that adds meaningful friction versus a gym turf track. That surface is exactly why the sled feels heavier on race day than the same number does in training. If you are benchmarking sled loads against other functional-fitness standards, our functional-fitness load standards breakdown gives a useful cross-reference. The push is the heaviest single load in the race, and pacing the first lane conservatively is the standard advice from coaches across the board.
HYROX sled pull weight for men
The HYROX sled pull for men is 103 kg (~227 lb) in Open and 153 kg (~337 lb) in Pro, again total weight including the sled. Like the push, it covers 50 m in 4 lengths of 12.5 m, but here you stay inside a marked box and haul the sled toward you hand-over-hand on a rope, then run to reset it. It sits lighter than the push because dragging on a rope with your bodyweight as an anchor is mechanically more efficient than overcoming push friction. Grip and lower-back endurance, not raw leg drive, tend to be the limiters.
Does the HYROX sled weight include the sled?
Yes. Every HYROX sled figure is the total loaded weight you move, with the sled hardware already counted — so a men’s Open push of 152 kg means 152 kg total, not 152 kg of plates on top of the sled. HYROX does not publish the empty sled’s base weight, so you cannot reverse-engineer the plate load precisely.
UNOFFICIAL ESTIMATE: A commonly cited sled base weight is roughly 30 kg, but treat that as unofficial — it comes from third-party coaching sources (GoWod), not the rulebook, and reported figures range from about 30 to 40 kg depending on the hardware.
HYROX farmers carry weight for men
The men’s farmers carry is 2×24 kg (~53 lb per hand) in Open and 2×32 kg (~70 lb per hand) in Pro, carried over 200 m. That puts 48 kg in your hands for Open and 64 kg for Pro across the full distance. Depending on the venue, the 200 m may be split into multiple laps, so check the athlete map beforehand. You may set the kettlebells down to rest as long as they do not roll forward, and they must return to the marked box upright to avoid a penalty. Grip is almost always the first thing to go.
HYROX sandbag lunge weight for men
The men’s sandbag lunge is 20 kg (~44 lb) in Open and 30 kg (~66 lb) in Pro, carried across 100 m of walking lunges. The bag rides on your shoulders and has to stay there the whole way — putting it down mid-lane draws a penalty, and a second offense risks disqualification. Each rep needs the trailing knee to clearly touch the ground and both knees and hips fully extended at the top. Coming late in the race, this station punishes anyone who arrives with nothing left in their legs.
HYROX wall ball weight and height for men (+ the 2025/26 rep change)
The men’s wall ball is 6 kg (~14 lb) in Open and 9 kg (~20 lb) in Pro, both thrown to a 3.0 m target for 100 reps. Squat below parallel — hips lower than knees — then drive up and strike the target; a digital or judge-confirmed valid rep is the only kind that counts. About the widely repeated “2025/26 rep change”: it cut women to 75 reps in the DOUBLES format only. In Singles, the 25/26 rulebook still lists 100 reps for every division, men and women alike. If you race singles, plan for the full 100 regardless of division.
HYROX women’s weights (quick reference)
For women in Singles, Open loads are 102 kg (~225 lb) sled push, 78 kg (~172 lb) sled pull, 2×16 kg (~35 lb) farmers carry, 10 kg (~22 lb) sandbag lunge, and a 4 kg (~9 lb) wall ball to a 2.7 m target. Pro women match the men’s Open numbers exactly — 152 kg push, 103 kg pull, 2×24 kg carry, 20 kg sandbag — but throw a 6 kg ball to the lower 2.7 m target. Both women’s divisions do 100 wall balls in Singles; the 75-rep standard is a Doubles rule, not a Singles one.
Are HYROX weights the same at every event worldwide?
Yes. HYROX weights, reps, distances, and movement standards are standardized globally for a given season, which is the whole point of the format — a 152 kg men’s Open push in Berlin is a 152 kg push in Chicago. What can change is the standard itself, between seasons, when HYROX revises the rulebook. That is exactly why this page is date-stamped: the numbers here reflect 25/26, and you should re-confirm before a new season.
What does HYROX stand for?
Officially, nothing. HYROX is a brand name, not an acronym — the company has never assigned an expanded meaning to the letters. You will sometimes see “hybrid rockstar” passed around as the supposed origin, but that is a fan-invented backronym, not anything HYROX endorses. The name was simply coined as the title for the fitness-racing format created by co-founders Christian Toetzke and Moritz Fürste.
